China's central pula cuts interest rates on demand deposits by 9 bps to
boost relative return on less-liquid term deposits.
Likely an attempt by PBOC to cool rapidly rising prices in asset markets, as
move will encourage depositors to keep funds in long-term deposits rather
than diverting money into stocks, real estate.
